Hot Water Plumbing was founded on a single mission – keeping your water and gas services running smoothly and safely so that your family or business can have peace of mind.
In 2009, founders Steve Kohl and Steve Kille were experienced plumbers working together at another company. They soon discovered their names weren’t the only thing they had in common; both approached their work by valuing their customers and building strong relationships within their local community.
In 2011, they took a leap and created their own business together. Those same values of customer service and community saw them grow from strength to strength, and become the business that many know and love today.

Steve Kohl
Co-director & Head Plumber
Steve Kohl looks after most of the maintenance and renovation work at Hot Water Plumbing. He has been in the industry since 2003, when he turned his high school passion of woodwork and welding into a plumbing career.
His favourite part of the job is building relationships with customers. The part he dreads is the prospect of an exploding drain – and who can blame him?!
Steve Kille
Co-director & Head Plumber
Steve Kille’s specialty is gas work due to its more technical nature. His interest in complex, intricate work originates from his time in the British Navy as a clearance diver doing bomb disposal.
He has also been in the plumbing industry since 2003, when he started his own London-based plumbing and gas company which employed 16 people.
Kyle Martin
Plumber
Kyle has apprenticed with us for 4 years and is now a fully qualified plumber. Friendly, enthusiastic and a great communicator, he fits right in with our hardworking team.
